The Track Tours were ride-and-drive events held at race tracks. There was no component for attendees that was even close to what happens at an HPDE. To compare the two is beyond ridiculous.

We're still waiting for specific Ford references to your 20-minute "standard"...

The point is Ford advertised that the GT350 was track capable. A standard track session is 20-30 minutes. They made no mention of the base or tech not being able to sustain that or sustain high speeds. Period.

Showing that picture with the track tour, along with all the other advertising, reinforces that message, period.

I'm happy that you are satisfied with your order. I wish I shared the same ability to see through the BS advertising and lies of omission that you obviously have. However, If it takes a professional or near-professional to draw the conclusion that coolers are required for a basic track session, then that's part of the problem as well. Not to mention that the coolers are not even made and there are no announced plans to make them.

Wow - I've got to give you high marks for consistency. You may be wrong, but you're never in doubt.

I hate to see someone so torn up over something like this. Life is too short. Sell the damn car.

Wrong? You're quite the judge.

I have to keep it for one year. It will be available after that if you want it.

What I don't understand here folks is how continuously debating this on an Internet forum is going to fix anything. The dead horse has been beaten so badly now that I'm about to start making masturbation jokes.

Three takeaways from ALL of the discussions:

1. Some are hoping for a FoMoCo solution. Good luck.

2. A very small few are looking into after market cooling offerings.

3. Some should probably just sell their car because they're so pissed. Do it. You'll probably make money in the process.

So what else needs to be said? Jesus christ...

What I find interesting is the continuos interest that limp mode brings to those who don't need to worry about it. I.e. Track pack owners and non shelby owners

Agreed. That and the belief that after buying the car, it's the customer's responsibility to find a solution.

There are a few exceptions, one notable one being Bossing. I don't think anyone can capture as well as he did:

"You know if at the very least one Ford Performance engineer or rep was with us at PBIR that cool Thursday night on 2/25 and promptly saw the 2 Techs + 1 Base pit in and observed all 3 shockingly disappointed after 15-20mins in a 30min session because their cars went into some form of reduced rpm limp mode while they were out w/ an instructor in a crowded novice group on average at moderate speeds lap after lap.... (and reoccurence again session after session) then that individual from Ford would be extremely embarassed and frankly shocked or dumbfounded on what he just witnessed.

Furthermore, other cars are still out there joyfully speeding along lap after lap... Fietas, Focus, Mustangs, and other marques. So with that picture painted.... shouldn't Ford at the very least officially address this somehow someway soon? I hope so. Thiis is not a single-case scenario nor an isolated event. It's a clear systemic letdown, bigtime.

That's my 2 cents becauze I really felt bad and still do for our 3 comrades that night... as well as others who have or will experience this issue."

just remove your tranny temp sensor and zip tie it under the car. If all you need is 5 more minutes for all to be right with the world. If the car could go 30min with no coolers there wouldnt need to be coolers on any package...you will run out of gas 1st.

in 5 more min? in all likelihood nothing. Its not like the tranny will go supernova at 281 degrees. How hot does the fluid in a GTPP or Boss 302 get running hard? nobody knows or cares

you do realize that the car also pull power when the car is not up to temp yet, right? ( this does include the transmission from what i've found).

I would dare to guess that no signal from the trans temp sensor will also cause an issue.

280 degrees is WAY hot and I'm actually pretty surprised that the threshold is that high, especially when it seems 170 is the high water mark for the Track Pack cars.
