I do like the idea of the C8. Not that it's in my auto-budet range, but they are interesting.

But the "brake-by-wire" part has gotten some complaints. That and there seems to be some real under-steer tuned into the handling.

Some of these fanboi comments are pretty comical. The C8 looks amazing.

I'd have ordered one myself, but I love taking my little guy for rides and he is still years away from being a front seat rider.

To the OP, are you going to go to Bowling Green, Ky. to pick it up? I think you are going to get a beautiful car. Other than the color, I love it.

I like the Corvette, even if it is above my pay grade. It's been good for my State. Not only is the plant here, but the Corvette museum, and a really nice track that supports the plant and can be used by the public. I hope to drive my Mustang on that track some day. I've watched Bowling Green grow from a college town to a small city, and the Corvette plant helped.

Watch this video, start around the 2 minute mark..
Yeah, it's still a tight fit even for him. He's got a longer torso than me so I can see why the headliner would be an issue. I'm going to wait for the Austin Auto Show this year and hopefully I'll get to sit in one. I tried to sit in a C7 and the stock seat didn't work at all for me. I couldn't even ride in the passenger seat either.

Hi Lynn, Glad to see commerce helping cities grow like that. I am not doing the museum deliver.
I like to do break in slowly with many heat cycles. Hard to do that when you have to hit the highway day one.
Not that it's that big of a deal in of itself but paying $995 for a museum delivery plus $300 for airfare.
Uh... just not enough bang for the buck. Picking up a C8 locally is enough excitement on delivery day. LOL

Hey I understand on the break in and extra cost, but sometime or other you need to visit the museum and track. Maybe even time it with an event at the Beech Bend Park drag strip.
After all I understand that watching a plant assemble your car is like watching a packing house make your sausage:puke:
