Me crazy, and I can't help myself
The rear bumper won't have holes, but the truck lid will. ;)
Will the holes remain exposed even after the new wing goes on?

The tech pack and track pack spoilers are both bolted to the trunk lid at three places. Either side and in the center. So when they're removed and replaced with the "R" spoiler, the holes in the center are uncovered. Either you can have the holes properly filled and repainted or just use plugs. Of course, the plugs are the cheaper method but not exactly professional or aesthetically pleasing... but the other option is much more expensive. I will be getting my R wing from Carbon 2 Carbon, because they are the only company who make an exact replica that actually fits correctly. All the other brands are different looking to the original in various ways. I will also be getting the holes properly filled and repainted and stripe reapplied.

This color reminds me of the vintage 69 honda candy blue and the ruby red reminds me of the 69 candy red (bottom two minis)Back then they put an undercoating of silver under the candy color and it gave it a metalic type look underneath the paint. Very cool and timeless...

Brought her home this weekend and spent half of Saturday getting her cleaned up. Had the dealer skip PDI so I could make sure it was done right. Haven't had a chance to put the splitter on yet. Spent the rest of the weekend on backroads getting a few hundred break-in miles out of the way. And grinning like an idiot.

Does the PDI not involve removing shipping blocks from the suspension? If not I think I'm going to do the same thing. Straight to the detailer and I can spend some quality time with the car installing the splitter myself.

I believe the R model is the only one with shipping blocks in the suspension.

There was a Lightning Blue GT350R at Mustang Alley over the weekend (along with every color 2016/17 GT350 there is, except Ruby Red) and having now seen one in the color, it is absolutely THE color to have for 2017. DIB was my favorite color previously, but Lightning Blue looks SO good. There was a Grabber Blue one there, too, but I really didn't feel like the color popped like it did on previous generations. LB is THE color on GT350s, IMO.
