Again, what is the OP trying to accomplish? I wouldn't spend that kind of coin unless I needed the performance and strength. Street only? I'd scale it all way back.
This coming from a guy that has two Rs.

LOL.

Just my 2 cents. ...I think your budget AND weight criteriawill be very well satisfied by looking into the Signature Wheels . I run the SV104'S in "R " sizing and they do weigh in @ 21.5lb frt. / 20.5lb rear. Fully forged and most definitely within budget paramameter you metioned.

Sounds like it.

To confirm, stock wheels weigh 31/30, R wheels weigh 20/19?

Stock wheels are

30.85 lbs
30.95 lbs

R Wheels are

18.89 lbs
19.99 lbs

I believe

Checkout the BC Wheels the way they produce them allows for a track oriented very light wheel selection that is light and strong.
Thanks, I havent seen any pricing on bc's website, can you help me with that?

In either case, at 1 lbs heavier than R wheels, the signature wheels seems to be pretty good no at 1/4th of price?

FWIW, the BC Forged wheels were my other choice after exhaustive search for a considerable time. My selection criteria very closely paralleled yours it seems. I too set a ceiling of under $4,000 a set. A quality fully forged wheel of substantial weight savings over oem. Of course , style preference is a highly subjective thing and in my opinion few things you will ever do to your car will make a more dramatic change to appearance than wheels. Extremely pleased w/ my Signature Wheels but I feel the BC Forged
are certainly another viable option for you. Good Luck!

For reference some styles of Forgeline would be about $1000 more than BC.

One of the things I considered was the resale of the wheels if I sell the car one day. Forgeline has a great reputation and I have seen used wheels of certain models sell for 75% of their original values.

Apex Wheels are 19x10, weigh 24lbs and are JWL & VIA certfied for $379 each. Apex usually does group discounts as well where you can get them for as low as $200 each I believe.

I have the P51s on my R. I am using them for street use and I really like them.
