I got the X-ice in 235/50/18 with the cheapest low pressure cast 18s they had. Immediate reaction from the first drive: not better than Blizzaks. Be leery of such claims.

Ive never heard of any ice-x variations being better then the none entry level blizzacks models. Where did you hear that?

Didnt notice that link. Only the OP. I read the first post and posted based off that. Thats new news to me the michliens did well. Then again i dont read anything c&d, r&t etc put out. I stopped reading them about 2 decades ago when i got tired of their biased chevy love. I havent heard anyone give they ice-x tires great reviews, however based on that, that had be be really aggravating for you. I typically read tireracks testing. I only heard/tried hakkas because of the subaru crowd im also in. Bunch of my subaru buddies use these sometimes as cheaper rally tires which work surprisingly well :lol:

i live in north dakota and im on 245/40/19 nokian hakkapellittias.

i love them. 10/10 would reccomend to everyone!

the car and driver comparison i read nokian won every catagory.
