Interesting.... the only other car I've ever tracked extensively was a gen 5 1Le and it wasn't too difficult to manage the understeer. I have noticed that the turn in on the GT350 is much more precise and you can rotate the car with throttle easier than than my previous car. Again though, haven't had it on a real track.
I guess as long as no one sees any real negative repercussions to running 325s on the rear and 295s on the front I'll give it a go and give feedback on how it went.

I'm running 325 square SC3s for track days and very happy with them thus far 16 heat cycles in.
Whoa! 325 square? I'm guessing you have aftermarket wheels. Maybe 11" front and rear? Do those monsters fit up front with no spacers? How'd you set that up?

11.5" wheels all around, ET56, 35mm spacer front, 3mm spacer rear.

I wasn’t as bold as Chip. For my second set, I’m running 315/30’s on 19x11’s with just a 28 mm spacer up front. I feel so inadequate.

Edit: This setup includes a nice comp alignment that makes the car pretty close to neutral and pretty easy on tires.

Well I think i have a way to go getting to know this car before I start changing out wheels lol. I never did anything to my 1LE. Just learned how to drive the car. Ill see how I like what's on it I guess. Maybe if anything try the original stock set up next. Decided to just replace the plugged tire for my 1st track day with the Shelby. I wish I knew who owned K0800 before me but from the looks of the tires they dont have any track days on them..
I'll just run whats on it unless anyone thinks its a horrible set up.

Sounds like a good place to start. Let us know how it goes. Which track are you going to?
