They are not trying to get rid of race cars - since by definition race cars are off road use only. They're trying to get rid of companies selling and people buying parts claiming to be for off-road use only but then driving the illegally modified vehicles on public streets. I mean, come on, everyone essentially ignores the "for off road use only" warnings the part manufacturers have been using trying use to pass their parts as "legal".I was watching that last night. They are trying to make race cars a thing of the past it seems. I cant believe how hard they are going at tuning shops. All the more reason to get my parts and get tuned asap I suppose.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they start going for individuals who claim to have race pipes and other things on their cars on YouTube and public forums. That will be after the manufacturers and tuning shops, if it happens.
