Lego Technic GT500

More of an awareness for those with GT500s, and anybody that appreciates a fun Lego build. The pullback propulsion is cool as well (I'm easily entertained) -

I picked this set up while perusing Legoland yesterday, and it's pretty neat It's probably the fussiest I've ever been putting decals on a Lego set Might check into a ceramic coat later...

Guess where I’ve been this morning … lol

Right car, wrong model (for me), best colour …

Only one in stock and a damaged box though

But without me asking, they gave me discount and said so long as I don’t open it, they will exchange it if / when they get more stock.

The store manager said they hadn’t had many and that they had sold as soon as they got on the shelf.

Heck yeah! Nice! If you go ahead and build that kit, enjoy Mine was the only they had in stock as well. Cashier said it was a popular kit.

And yes, I love the color. Im glad them went with the Grabber Lime

Amazon had them a couple weeks ago, same price as shown on Ford Authority. I have too many hobbies now, so I passed.

My local Target and Walmart have had several in stock since they launched. I bought mine, I am waiting on a few pieces, as I built it to be stripeless. Lego says 5-6 weeks on part orders. Maybe I should have went to Harry's to get overnight parts from Japan....

I have not used either. I need to update my mac. Right now, I just play lego the old school way. But I can see this taking over my life. I have the Raptor set too. I was going to make a trailer for it to haul the GT500, but they aren't the same scale. I suppose I could make a trailer for the 67 Mustang set.
