Hi guys!

Just installed the RTR competition axle-back the other day. Everything went pretty smoothly and the sound is phenomenal.

But I just noticed that the driver's side hangs about an inch lower than the other side. At first I thought this wasn't a big deal, but ever since I noticed it, I can't unsee it. Did anyone else have the same problem and/or know how to fix it? Stock resonator, and I didn't notice anything that might have went loose during the install.

Cheers, Vincent

I have the same problem with my Borla Touring catback, but it's fixable. It most probably occurs b/c the pipes aren't bent perfectly..."margin of error" or "tolerance" I guess. I fixed it by loosening all clamps and sliding things around until I got it where I wanted it. Also, you may be able to move the passenger side muffler/pipes around too, in case you can't move the driver's side enough to match the passenger side. Sort of "meet in the middle" if you will..

Hmm, I’ll definitely check the piping as soon as I get the chance to look under the car again. That probably won’t be for a while though :/

I Had the same issue with my new Pypes axle-back. The one hanger welded to the muffler was just too long such that the exhaust tip sat too low.

The only way I could fix it was to torch the corner of the metal hanger for about 90 seconds until it's starting to get orange and then put a long piece of pipe over it and bend it in the appropriate direction (in your case, assuming the exhaust is in the same position as it'll be on the car, you'll be pushing the pipe down). Have a spray bottle of water at the ready as you'll want to cool it down. You'll be spraying lots.

Magnaflow Comp Axlebacks here. Same issue.

When I put the H-Pipe in, I was able to adjust it and it's not as bad as before. Still sags a bit and looks wonky from behind because the MF Comp's hang low anyway.

I also had the same issue with my old MF Comp axle-backs ... think most systems will require some adjustment if you're finnicky like me on evenness side to side.
