Launch control won't activate!

I believe what your doing is trying to partially open the throttle. This will prevent launch control from activating. You must push the accelerator immediately all the way to the floor.

Yes as sam said u have to push the accelerator to thh he floor fast with no pauses, or ur rpms will redline.If u have ur launch contol on rpms set to what u want push the accelator to the floor fast and i bet it will work.

I had this same problem. The "key" I found was in his video. While in gear, clutch in, press down on the brake pedal fully (that's what I was missing), then go to the gas, the RPMs will stop wherever you have the LC set at.

Has nothing to do with the brake pedal, thats the line lock and yes u have to apply the brake pedal hard to activate the line lock.

I understand the line lock feature and brake. What I can tell you is I tried this as you mention and it redlined (unless I did something wrong on accelerator, but I put it to the floor and let up after it passed 3K). After I depressed the brake fully and then accelerator, it dialed in at 3,000 which is what I had the LC set at.

Ok just tried it again, and used the suggestion of more rapidly pressing the throttle as opposed to what I was doing which was rolling onto the throttle.... BINGO, it worked!

I think LC was intended for the track. I have tired it at its lowest setting, 3k RPM, and I just spun. I have better times and less spinning launching at a lower RPM and easing into the gas than using LC.
