End of an era.

I am obviously biased, but for the money the GT350 is the best car out there. Nothing else really comes close.

Based on Dearborn bringing back many cool Mustang models from the past and always reliving much of their outstanding heritage I am somewhat surprized that the FMC did not come up with a 50th Anniversary Boss 351.

Back in 1971 when GM was dropping CR's on all of their HP engines dramatically which was also the case with both Dodge and Plymouth dropping their CR's on all of the performance engines as well sans the 426 Hemi which remained the same at 10.2:1.

Then there was the Ford Motor Company in 1971 who decided to have one last hurrah who upped their CR on one of their HP engines and assembled one of their best engines ever namely the Boss 351.

During 1971 GM still had the 454 LS6 engine in their Chevelle SS wih a whopping 9.0:1 CR and what does Ford do but come up with a Boss 351 with a 11.7:1 CR and solid lifters therefore a total different strafegy.

Would really liked to have seen a 50th Anniversary Boss 351 this year but not to be.

I suggest that a third generation of the GT350 is done for quite some time.

Now a third generation of a 2022/2023 Boss 302 is possible and would certainly be nice to see!!

I can stare at classic 1965 GT350 for a long time because it's check all my boxes and is very pleased to my eyes. IMO 1965 is a timeless design. I wonder if in 50 years from now people can say same about 2nd generation of GT350. Don't get me wrong I can stare at my 19'GT350 for a long time in my garage.

The next 350 will have an awesome bank of batteries and the hum will be the best sounding hum ever.

It's already in the works, only Ford got confused and called it Mach 1.

A high performance car without the feel of the engine, and exhaust roar, is an unfulfilling experience.
BINGO...!!!

Like sex while using a condom with an inflatable doll............... It just will never feel natural.
