The button overall side need to be slimmer.
They are printed I know, but is the final draft of them a rough finish or are we able to order a fine finish from the printer?

If no fine, do you have a recomendation for how to clean up and polish these guys?

Looks good!

I do think a smooth gloss finish would look more "finished". Is that redundant?? Ha

Otherwise still will pick one up and try it out

Do you still see the LED when sitting in the driver seat? With it being so bulky it looks like you wont really see it under there, even with the cut out

Ok answering the questions I see...!

Yes there will be a high quality detail plastic offered that when you paint it will provide a smooth glossy finish.

I agree on it being slightly to thick. Will be modifying the red cover to be about half as thick as it is currently.

I like it. Do you have to use tape or glue or will it stay on without it?

Agree with this. Unless its flush with the button it is not needed.

Also noticed that when you flipped up the button the ring did not sit flush with the console. I think the mounting ring could be thinner as well.

Agreed. I appreciate all the work you're doing for the community.

I'd like to see a thinner or non existent base/mounting point along with a spring return. I'd imagine it's a challenge to design something sturdy enough for daily use and minimalistic while still inexpensive and easy to install but I figure asking is free.

This would also be a great opportunity for the start button decal guys to give us an option besides a blank cover.

Ok I'm done.

Update!!

Finished the new assembly. It is about as thick as the original base ring! That is the new assembly is 4mm thinner then the prototype.

I keep my cell phone in that little tray by the button and I have hit the start button twice in the past week reaching for the phone:frusty:
