I briefly saw a description of koni's and I'm confused about the drill part.

Rear shocks, reuse the top? I'm gonna grab some lunch but the reason I bought the koni rears is I stripped one of the stock ones.

Any advice? I know install on the shock is just four bolts but I still might manage to mess that up.

First I want to qualify I'm not sure if you're talking about the Koni adjustable or fixed and if the fixed is smaller? Regarding the Koni adjustables:

The hole in the shock mount is too small for the Koni shock. You'll need to drill it out to 12mm. I drilled mine out to 1/2" because I had that bit and it's only very slightly larger. It was really easy to do.

Another alternative is you could buy the Steeda billet shock mounts which are way better than stock. They will allow the shock to articulate without binding enabling it to provide better dampening. If you do get it, just make sure you order the one for 12mm (Koni).

If you're not sure about the drilling, you can have my stock cast shock mounts. They're already drilled to 12mm. I had upgraded to steeda billet mounts for koni yellows.

Doing it tomorrow but if I somehow manage to screw mine up I'm definitely hitting you up. Thanks a bunch.
