Within 14 days of install on OE HPP springs knocking from front end. After triple checking everything suspension consisting of new LCAs, new strut bearings, Steeda end links, and stout tie rod ends swapped for Ford struts had on hand and noise gone.

Hand compression of struts revealed nearly zero resistance in first part of stroke then a sudden hard audible thud hit in the stroke.

Hope I get my money back.

That's too bad. No oil leaking from the strut or anything?
Love my FP dampers/track springs. Have never had a lowering spring/damper combo feel so perfectly matched. Usually the damping feels at least a little bit off but this setup feels truly OEM

I’m starting to wonder if anyone has had a good longterm experience with these. They sound great in the surface, but all the reviews on this forum seem negative.

Been running them for 20k miles and wouldn't swap. Often they get screwed up by people using rattle guns on the shaft nut which undoes the foot valve.

Thats good to hear. No clunking or any weird noises?

At the moment they are ready for shipping for refund or analysis and replacement whatever they want to do I'm fine.

Spent a lot of time chasing this not considering new struts could be bad.

I know for a fact impact was not used by the tech who frequently works on $300K + cars.

Saw some Tesla owners seemed to have same issues.

Regardless, I know I will be made whole by some party even if it's deemed installers who ruined the struts they will pay me.

Ford ones are a bit bouncy, probably becUe from a GT and I'm EB.

Initially had clunking from the right rear, sent the shock away to be checked by Koni and sure enough the shop had used a rattle gun on the nut with symptoms described as above. Had the shock repaired at the shop's expense and since then they've been great.

I live in an area with choppy roads and IMHO they're a good balance of comfort and handling.

Called Koni's excellent tech support and was informed these dampers (made 11, 2020), may have been laying on their side for extended period of time causing and air pocket.

Was told to fully compress with strut shaft end up, fully extend it and let sit for 15 min or so, then cycle it several more times.

Seems to have solved it. Will verify with them tomorrow.

Since no stock im getting refund and keeping new take off OE struts I got for 100, assembled but just using strut will see how it breaks in definitely smoother over small bumps and steps etc.
