Went for my state inspection today. Everything else passed as I knew it would.

When the tech went to check for codes, I was told to come back because my O2 Sensor, Cats and Readyness test isn't ready.

I'm assuming that's happened because I just changed my axleback about 40miles ago.

Anyone else have any issues similar to this?

The car is tuned and it has it's stock headers/cats.

Mid pipe and mufflers are the only exhaust mods.

Axleback shouldn't have anything to do with emmisions.
That's what I was thinking.

I've been running the same PBD tune for 9 months and haven't thrown a code yet.

I'm having them review the tune now.

Probably the tune. Axlebacks wouldn't make you fail. I ended up going back to stock so as not to have to deal with the headaches of removing it to pass inspection. Even with a revised tune the (well-known reputable tuner) couldn't get it to pass so I bailed.

It's just a pain in the ass. I don't understand that with even those sensors enabled that the state can just fail.

I'll put it back to stock and put 500mi on it and see how it goes. Probably my best bet.

You won't need 500 miles. I fought this myself a few weeks back. I went back to stock, reset the battery, then followed the Ford readiness guide that you can find online. I was able to get all the readiness monitors to clear in around 30 miles. If you have an NGauge you can watch the monitors clear on it before you go. Any APP like OBD Fusion can also show you the readiness monitors.

Your tune has the rear O2's turned off. Most tuners do that to cause the majority of people running a tune also has headers.

I had a feeling.

I went into my Nguage and saw that I had my O2/Cat Sensors set to PID for the tune.

They registered just fine with the Nguage active (14.8 passenger and driver O2 for example).

The guy was cool. He didn't reject me. Just said figure it out and come back in 60 days. I'm gonna do exactly what you did.

Thanks again!
