I am planning on taking the mustang to the road course so maybe that will change my mind. Who knows. It will be more of a street car and at my novice level the 5.0 will probably be more than enough for awhile. But then you have the rarity of a gt350 which would be cool. I don't know. Tomorrow ill probably say I'll keep building my mustang and the next I'll want a gt350

Just can't get enuff!
I can't condone the more fun on the street statement ... Have you driven a 350? The engine sound alone made me forget the 500+ ft-lbs torque of my GT500.
I agree with this as well... the Voodoo's sound alone is like a philharmonic all-star orchestra. It can make me forgove & forget 650hp + 650tq too! :D

My old lady is gonna kill me I guess I'll have the test drive one if they even let me.
Just tell her that you think she would look really hot washing it for you :D

Value wise doesn't bother me as much. I would wait till summer to find a gt350 Msrp or even a slightly used one for a little cheaper. I just don't know if I would be bothered by the power hit I would be taking vs getting a car that's extremely balanced rare and has a lot of soul to it. I have always wanted a Shelby. Which I probably wouldn't mod much cuz it has all the stuff I want on it already. Oh the decisions.
Tough decision for sure man! Agree with it wont be much too mod, but it's a G T 3 5 0 man! If you are into having a car with mega h/p and has the ability to take just about anything on the street - stick w/the modded GT. Again I would opt for the GT350.

If they continue to make that bad boy I will trade my GT in for one, already mentioned it to wifey and she "seems" to be good with it.....for now LOL.

You have such a good car already. I am a huge NA fan, so the only hard decision I am left with really is just which color. There will always be supercharged and turbocharged cars in the future, but this is most likely the first and last high revving, flat-plane crank, big NA American V8 we will ever see. If that means something to you, I think you should go with the GT350. Just know you'll probably lose out on straight line performance, but what it lacks in performance compared to your current car, it'll make up for it with soul and passion, in spades.

Buying a car like the GT350 is for when you want something:

1) Different from the normal version
2) To keep stock to preserve the uniqueness
3) To enjoy for what it is and not worry about what it is not

If you want to have a fast car, it's far better to mod the GT. Personally, I could see room for the GT350 in a collection of 5 or more cars but not as my "only toy" or especially not as a DD.

Well my truck is my daily and this is my toy and sometimes daily when it' doesn't rain for awhile. I think I'm gonna have to test drive one if I can. Probably puts the power down well. Who knows if I ever will be able to own a high N/A v8 that makes over 500hp

Take a look at the Lund GT350 thread if you haven't done so. Evo (Evolution Performance) ran a 11.96 today. Plenty of potential to squeeze more power outta the Voodoo.....
