@Travis@boostworks Was good chatting with ya today. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful to say the least. I can see where the great customer service will come into play. Look forward to dealing with you in the near future for my Kenne Bell build.:thumbsup:
Travis, reminds of Andy from ADM Performance, where they both speak from experience and knowledge and no Sales BS.

I'm keeping an eye on his TT for the GT.

Anyone mind helping me decide on some rear rubber? Do you think I'm making the right decision with the NT555 G2?
It's a cheap tire at 200/piece and rated to about 25000 miles and will work in the rain. If I could hook in third or even second gear but have a tire I can use in the rain over 10,000 miles.
I'm probably asking way too much

The only I guess gripe would be the slightly lower mpg cruising around. And it's not that bad, maybe 2mpg city/highway. That and I wish I had that signature KB whine under WOT. But I'll have that when I start changing pullies. The car drives around just as nice as stock, but I think better. Just because I now have much better useable power in the lower rpms. Something the coyote was lacking over my old pushrod mustang

I would try the NT555r. Street tires will just spin bro. I tried 305 MT street comps and they wouldn't hook until 4th lol. I was spinning through 3rd for the logs. I only run DRs now. If it rains then I just drive my truck.

Well, I don't have your truck. :/ unless of course they're included in the purchase of the 555rs.
But seriously the street comps wernt worth it?

The street comps are good until you floor it lol. They would just spin. Seriously, I was fish tailing at 100 mph while getting the logs for Jon. I immediately put the DRs back on. I'll probably start running NT05r soon. They are only $500 for a pair of 305s on ebay.

I can tell you that we worked with Lund and Lund has been working with others on drive-ability tuning for a year. These cars drive like stock. You wouldn't even know the car had a 168mm KB TB in place. It's THAT good.

I would say the NT555r would be your best bet. You'd get about 10k miles and they hook well. I have the MT street comps up front, and I went with the Mickey Thompson ET Street II in the rear to support the power I'm about to have after the Paxton. I read a bunch of threads about no traction and I wouldn't be able to live by having the pedal the car all the way up to 4th gear. The MT ETs don't last long supposedly (5-7k miles), but I have a cheap DD for bad weather and to keep the miles somewhat down for when I take long trips. I've driven in the rain on DRs, It's like ice skating once you get over 40mph haha.

That's the stock 4 1/16" pulley. :)
Not to hijack Obsolete's awesome thread here, but with a smaller pulley, would someone have to do engine modifications, running at 93 octane.
What are the smaller size pulleys for the 3.2L KB beast? And roughly how much power/torque would you pick up?
Thanks!
Awesome build Obsolete. Car looks and sound great. Now, with more power and torque!

We've had a customer make in the 780's with a 3 7/8" pulley on a stock engine on 93 and a little Torco additive. On E85, he will be over 800. Just waiting on some fuel system parts.

Eh, it cuts the sidewall down a bit if I went with the 555r
I have the stock PP wheels and the widest/tallest that comes on a 19" wheel would be 275/35/19 1.1" smaller...
I'm already running 3.73's!

Yeah bro, I switched to 3.31s, it helped. Also, I have 305 MT ETs on my PP wheels. They fit good!
