I ended up not filling up. Put enough in to get into work in the morning and to get to another station because of this sign posted next to the pump. Anyone else seen this?

Found a little more info here. May be isolated and outdated at this point, but not sure. I buy all my gas at Costco as well. Usually $0.10 to $0.30 cheaper per gallon than other stations for 87 around here and $0.20 to $0.40 cheaper for 91. Plus get 4% rebate for using their Visa card.

I wish Costco got into the E85 game.

That said - whatever the matter with "detergency" - just throw a bottle of Techron in every 3K miles.

There's enough bottles of injector cleaner/fuel treatments that never sell at your local walmart/autozone to make up for this for years lol

I went a little further researching this. The sticker in the picture appears to have been there a while, but how long is anyone's guess, since there's no indication of a date. The QR code resolves to https://www.citgo.com/TopTierStatus, which doesn't currently exist, so there's that.

Searching around on Citgo's site, I did find this page, which indicates an issue currently exists in only a few very specific locations - namely Chattanooga, TN; North Augusta, SC; and Fort Smith, AR. If you're not in one of these areas, I'd venture to say the gas is as good as any other day.

I swear, the only thing there’s no shortage of is shortages.

Lately Costco has been the only place I've been putting in 93 octane because it's a good 40 cents cheaper than anywhere else on premium for some reason. I'd change stations if I saw that message too.
