Just ordered a GT

Hi all, on Friday I ordered a 2015 GT, CO with the auto tran, recaro seats, 3.55 gears and spoiler delete. I had a hard time choosing between the orange and the yellow but went with the orange instead. I wish they still had the grabber blue and gotta have it green but I can live with it haha.

My dealer has said it will come in within 6-8 weeks, after looking around the forum for a bit though I think that is a little off, 8 weeks would already be too much for me to handle

So, when should I realistically expect it to arrive?

Also, does anyone think the premium package is worth the extra cost? I personally do not want leather seats but some of the features are pretty cool.

Wow a 4.55 gear is a little steep...

I ordered a premium in spite of the leather. Would have rather had cloth but didn't like the look of the center stack on the base GT. To each his own.

Delivery time seems to be a crapshoot, but it looks like the more recently built cars are arriving at the dealerships in a fairly reasonable amount of time. I just ordered on 11/25, got a VIN on 12/4, and barring some unforeseen circumstances, have a build week of 12/15 according to Rachel at Ford Service. So if my car sneaks out of the factory before the Christmas through New Years shutdown, it should be delivered in that 6-8 week timeframe.

For what it's worth, my dealer said to expect 9-12 weeks because of the holiday plant closure.

Oh my lol, I just got home from work so I am half asleep, let me edit that now ;)

Thank you! They had an ordered orange ecoboost sitting around that the factory messed up on so I was able to see it in person thankfully, online a lot of pictures seem to give it a red tint, I am glad I was able to see it in person though.

My Cobra looked different at night depending on the lights in the parking lot. It's one of those colors you just have to see in person to really appreciate.

That is good to hear, if I can get mine before the end of Jan I think I will be quite happy! I have been going back and forth on the premium, mainly for the center stack as well, I really just want those fancy toggle switches

I agree big time, if I did not get the chance to see the orange in person I would have gone with the yellow honestly.

Fortunately for me the factory made a mistake on that ecoboost, but I feel horrible for the person who ordered it though. They had got it with the recaro seats but it came in with the regular seats instead so they had to do another order:frusty:
