Congrats!
It's not always the first mod but it's definitely the best mod one can do!

I paid mine off and in Texas they have an E-title system where the lender tells the state the title is released. I'm pretty sure it's a 10 day window for the state to send you the paper title. I got mine in that time frame anyways!

Congrats. That's an awesome feeling.
I'm two years ahead on my payments and hope to have it paid off in 15 months. Hopefully. lol

Yeah, I got lucky. Took a 6yr loan for the lower payment in case I lost my job or something and figured I'd just overpay on it each month. Turned out I did end up losing my job, but I had enough cash on hand when I got re-hired that I just used it to pay it all off.
