Many Ice performance cars will be collectible one day with most the world embracing the so called "green cars." Any limited production runs like the bullitt with only 12,000 units is most certainly going to be collectible as you figure half of those are going to end up in a salvage yard or modded to the point of oblivion.Ok, but my point is in 1968 no body thought a Mustang GT would be collectible either. A Shelby was coveted then, but not a GT. Let’s hope all high performance ICE cars become future collectibles.
I'm hoping to latch on to a 19 or 20 bone stock bullitt this next year and I don't plan on doing a damn thing to it other than driving it and enjoying it I'm leaving it stock because I think its a very good possibility it will be a collectors item some day.
I can see Mach 1s and other limited production runs collectible.
Nobody who originally bought a Terminator Cobra back in the day was thinking about collectibility ... they we just looking to haul ass. and look at them now. Terminator Cobras are definitely collectible and the prices refelect it.
