I put the LED map and glove box lights in mine but skipped the vanity bulbs because I found in past use the LED bulbs are just too bright to look directly at. They also leave a spot on your retina for a while similar to accidently looking at the sun..

Yeah I can see that. But I can honestly say the first time seeing my vanity lights was when I went to change them. I just wanted to have them all match.

It's the perfect way to prevent someone from applying makeup to their face in your Mustang! :p

I just ordered the same exact items for my 2016. Were they hard to install? I've read some posts where other members have blown fuses or fried their glove box connector during install:eyebulge: Thanks for the pics looks like a great investment
I did pop a fuse when installing the trunk light and that was my own stupidity. But I installed a new one and was good to go.
Same here. The only one that I found very difficult was the one in the glove compartment. It was the first one I started with and I thought pulling back the bulb with my flat head would crack open the light bulb, so I was very cautious not to apply too much pressure. Took me like 20 minutes of watching the video a few times and being overly cautious until I finally got it out.

I did blow a fuse as well. Just have to be careful when it comes to the trunk light and make sure you touch only the bulb with the tool when pulling it out. I had to replace my fuse after missing this part in the video.

LED lights are always the first thing I do to a car. I don't understand why all new cars these days don't have LEDs to begin with.

Diode Dynamics is generally my go-to as well, good website and customer service.

Still waiting on the front signals/parking light to come back in stock... *looks at Diode Dynamics*

Nick, i have a question.
i ordered the kit today for my 2016 'Stang....
Now someone mentioned here the vanity lamps are too bright to look at....
I actually chose the kit that have the most light possible lol...
Can we communicate, see if my order was shipped yet or not? if not, do you think its possible to swap just the vanity to something less bright so i wont blind myself while looking ? :)
Please let me know.
100$ spent today on ur site, i am confident much more in the near future...

I can tell you the ones I have in my vanity are the brightest they offer and I wouldn't say they are too bright. the plastic cover really takes away a lot of the brightness.

I must have missed it. Which bulb type did you go with for the back-up bulb? I have the DD as well for the interior. Now that winter is creeping up. It's time to replace the low lit back-up bulb.

I hope everything works. I bought the brightest reverse bulb and the switchbacks and neither worked. In fact, the switchbacks killed my passenger side tail light. Came back on when I put all the stock bulbs back in.

When installing the Diode Dynamics interior light kit and back up light would it be better to remove the fuse that many people seem to blow or just wait and replace it if it does blow? Also what fuse # is it and what type fuse? I will be installing mine once my 2016 comes in and would like to buy a supply of fuses so I have them on hand. Thanks!!
