Just finished Whipple Stage 2 Gen 3 install, couple questions

So today I took it for its first couple test drives. The first drive I drove somewhere between 5-10 miles and it didn't throw any codes. I took it out about a half hour later and it threw 2 codes, P0171 and P0174. I am using the whipple cal.

P0171 - System too lean Bank 1
P0174 - System too lean Bank 2

The other question I have is idling. It seems to consistently idle at 1000 and then go up to 1500 and then back to 1000 over and over. Is this normal?

Its a 2015 GT PP with a gen 3 stage 2 complete kit.

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me.

Yep, all symptoms point to an air leak somewhere between the MAF and the cylinder heads.

Thanks for the info guys. It looks like this is my problem,

The directions should look like this.When it said don't install on the top surface, I thought they meant the ring that dropped down from the top part onto it.

Yup that is an easy fix! BTW Magnetic PP's are the fastest!!

Moved the oring and fixed the issued.

Its a huge fricken install....easy fix, glad you found it so fast. I too had an air leak. Once I had found it the car drove like a banshee!! So much power WOW. Enjoy the new fun....and order some better tires soon...haha

Car runs great. Between doing the whipple install, oil pump gear and sprocket, it took me 2 weeks of working till 10-11pm at night after work.
