Same here, my OCD also screams "do the other side as well!" even though this already looks great.
I like it, looks different but classy. I say stay with just one side, reminds me of the mustang svo with the offset hood scoop.

those are naca ducts by definition, they are flush with the center of the hood. they drop on the sides.

as for the purpose of this discussion as well, Ford refers to it as a NACA hood and always has. there are also many other vehicles with similar where it drops on one side of the scoop.

" Prior submerged inlet experiments showed poor pressure recovery due to the slow-moving boundary layer entering the inlet. The NACA design is believed to work because the combination of the gentle ramp angle and the curvature profile of the walls creates counter-rotating vortices which deflect the boundary layer away from the inlet and draws in the faster moving air, while avoiding the form drag and flow separation that can occur with protruding scoop designs. "

you would be hard pressed to say that that is not a submerged inlet.

However, more to the point, this design would look significantly better on the S550 than a shaker scoop does. I am surprised that no-one has produced such a hood yet.
JD, I agree with you on the last part, the 2020-2023 hood is horrible, that's why I went with an aftermarket replacement Cervinis' GT500. I can't wait to get the custom graphics on my hood, if you like the factory graphics, you'll like it. The hood based on the Mach1 in your pic would be a great replacement for stock.

My wife is a crafting expert and she has the Cricut Maker 3 die cutting machine. The Mach 1 is definitely an in your face mustang and I thought I would try something very different. I love how it turned out. Thoughts?

I fall in the camp where I like the single offset Mach 1 logo, but MAN that pinstripe completes the package!!!
I'm a symmetrical kinda guy, so I think it looks out of balance only on one side, but the orange stripe is a definite plus.
