  1. Making A GT Look Like a Mach 1

I'm interested in how you will go about getting the finished badge product. Do you "know a guy", or make them yourself? 3D printed or cast out of metal or resin? Some other way? I'm interested in some custom badges myself and am looking for a way to do that. Thanks in advance!!!
  2. Mustang Diorama

Looks good! Did you employ some 3D printing for the garage or did you just scratchbuild stuff? If you bought anything for the garage, where did you get it?
  3. Do Mustang GT Premium cars have cooling seats as standard equipment?

Yep, that's my question. To rephrase: Does "Premium" guarantee cooling seats are installed from the factory? Thanks in advance...
  4. 15 Mustang GT , squeals when turning steering wheel , what is this? Video included

Well, there you go!!! May the madness end now, and thanks for sharing!!!!
  5. Mach One front end? On 15-17.

What if one wanted to put a non-Mach 1 18+ regular ol' doghouse on a '15-'17? Sounds like the fenders, hood, and bumper cover just don't bolt on? I'm guessing the front core support and headlight panel are welded in and not bolt on either? (My reasons for wanting to do this is I like alot more...
  6. Just experimenting with some final touches

I fall in the camp where I like the single offset Mach 1 logo, but MAN that pinstripe completes the package!!!
  7. 15 Mustang GT , squeals when turning steering wheel , what is this? Video included

Probably have to lift it. I know after being driven insane by this, I would definitely get under the car and look everywhere there are moving parts when you turn the wheel. This includes steering shaft and your front suspension. You mentioned the sound is coming from inside the car (steering...
  8. Does this look bad to you?

How big was that can opener?
  9. Car Shopping 15-17s - How many miles is too many?

To quote Dirty Harry: "You've got to ask yourself one question... How do you intend to use the car?" Ok, not THE quote, but that's the question I believe will help you. If it's a daily driver, how many miles do you think you'll put on the car in the next few years? Or will you track the car...
  10. Whoooboy....

    Yeah, this highway is not a 4 lane. It's a 2 lane...
  11. Whoooboy....

https://www.wane.com/news/local-news/police-clock-mustang-going-130-mph-on-us-33-driver-proud/ US33 coming out of Fort Wayne Indiana is a decent 2 lane blacktop with wide asphalt shoulders. Still, 130 mph is stupid, especially with the deer we have in this part of the country... Not sure what...
  12. In Your Face

How much have your lap times dropped with all that weight savings? 😀
  13. Tips for dealing with road rage?

Dear Zent, First off, kudos for your courage admitting you have a problem. Bigger kudos for asking for help. Shame on those who tear you down on this forum -- you folks don't have enough evidence of what Zent actually does to come on so strong. For instance, there's no evidence given that Zent...
  14. Is My Rear Bumper the Wrong One?

Actually, 15'-17' (I say Gen 6.0) is what I'm after. I don't want to hijack this thread so I won't go into detail other than I'll have to wait 6 months before I can start looking in earnest. I'll look for the resources on that package outline, and thanks for the input!!!!
  15. Is My Rear Bumper the Wrong One?

Thanks, Howitzer! I thought I'd missed something in the VIN breakdown, but I appreciate the clarification. This thread intrigued me because about the only way I could tell a Premium car at a glance was the leather seats. Never realized the rear valance was different, too.... I haven't gotten...
  16. Is My Rear Bumper the Wrong One?

Is the premium package indicated within the 17 digit VIN?
  17. Cervini Cobra R hood installed.

I had a Lincoln Mark VIII that I put an aftermarket cowl induction hood on. Looked pretty good, but the hood to fender gap was spot on on one side, but huge on the other. Kinda put me off of aftermarket hoods. How well do the Cervini hoods fit the Mustang?
  18. 302 fender badge?

Yes, eBay. Plus search your Mustang parts suppliers for fender badges for Gen 1 Mustangs, starting with 1967. Definitely 1968's ran 302's. If you don't like the style, then maybe take a class or two on 3-D printing. My local library has classes and a printer, too. The cost is less than a...
