Interesting. So in the early days of the Mach 1, Ford was experimenting with decals to see what the audience thinks? I think how they ended up doing it is just right. Only thing Ford should have offered as an option is the shaker hood scoop IMO.

It seems like the ‘Mach 1’ wasn’t present in the hood stripe at that stage either.

Same here, my OCD also screams "do the other side as well!" even though this already looks great.
