Ok guys I really need some help here, I just bought a set of 20" wheels 20x8.5 20x10, and I'm having a really hard time finding a set of tires to match. I was told 255/35/20 in front and 285/35/20 in the back. I can't seem to find a brand that makes both of those sizes other than BF Goodrich. Anyone with alot of experience think I could go to 295/35/20 in the rear with no issues? It seems like Nitto Invo's are well liked on the forums, so I was thinking about going with those. Any and all help is much appreciated.

I just bought 295/35 & 255/35 INVO's for a total of 800 shipped via Ebay Discount Tire Direct. I think the side walls look perfect, the 315's & 275's look like mud/off road tires.

They are 904.00 now I guess are your wheels 20x8.5 and 20x10?

Michelin Pilot A/S 3's come in 255/35R20 and 285/35R20... I have the exact same size wheels going on next summer and those are the tires I'll be getting. A little pricey though.

Mickey thompson street comps 255/35/20 and 275/35/20. Ride quality is awesome, wet traction is awesome, the treat rating is great (only 2500 miles on mine so no first hand experience) and the set of (4) can be had for about $800 to your door.

Thats what I am running on my 20x8.5 / 20x10 setup and the fitment is perfect

Follow up: My order fell through today due to an additional cost that was unseen by the company. Needless to say I'm not happy about it, but shit happens. Will still use this thread for information when I do end up finding the wheels I want. Thanks

Rod.
You keep whining about the Vossens being back ordered all over the forums! Why don't you just wait for what you really want instead of settling for other brands?

I'm not putting down any brand by me saying "settling" above. HRE and Velgens are freaking awesome wheels and honestly were in my top 3 choices.

All i am saying is this... at the end of the day you WILL regret not having what you want and you will feel pathetic all by yourself!

BTW, I ended up ordering the Vossens, fortunately i only have to wait 2 weeks, and so i am happy waiting.

OK well now that my order has fallen through, I am contemplating going with 19" wheels, problem is I don't know what wheel sizes or offsets work with our car in 19", I want the wheels to sit flush, without having to use spacers. I had spacers on my M3 and didn't like the feel with them. So if anyone can help me with 19" sizes and offsets, that would be great. Thank you. Also one of the reasons for doing this is I thought I could save money on rubber going with 19's but it seems as though the tires for 19's seem to be the same price or even more than the 20's. Anyone have any insight on this as well?? Thanks

Its Rob not Rod lol

And your right, I keep 'Whining' because I paid for and bought a set of wheels that were constantly being promoted as a 'Fall Sale' on this forum but the wheel company forgot to mention that they may or may not have them once you order them? I tried to be patient but after a month of waiting, when I called Vossen; I was pretty much told to F off and to wait until MAYBE next year.

Sorry bud, but if I was on the outside looking in, I would want to hear someone 'whining' about something like that and use it as a simple warning.

And thats great news that youll get yours in couple weeks but Im over the Vossen wheels already, cancelled my order earlier today.

Oh and since you brought it up - Dont you worry about me, Ill be ok when Im feeling pathetic with my final decision... But I wont be alone because Ill quickly get over it while Im driving around in my 04 low mile OW Lightning or when Im staring and admiring the polished CCW D110's that will soon be on my clean 93 Calypso Coupe... Ill take pathetic with all 3 of my toys any day ;)

BTW: Post a pic of your ride when you get those wheels
