I made some changes to customize them to my car.

Really, I actually think they look good. I’m going with a hybrid stock/SignatureEdition look. I’ve seen a few others in person (but different color) when I was in Vegas and they looked great.

I know this isn't a seat cover thread but thought I would chime in on Katkin covers. I have used their seat covers in several of my cars. They are top notch and whatever wrinkles they had after being installed went away after a bit of time. There sometimes are a few here and there but it can depend on the leather chosen too. I normally use their Tuscany leather which is glove soft. It is thinner and has a bit better stretching ability from what I have seen.

I change out seat covers because I dislike vinyl material and I like to customize them a bit too. I always go for the option of all leather which includes sides and rear, no vinyl whatsoever.

The seat covers below in my '14 Escape I had changed out. They look very stock but are anything but. The OEM covers were all vinyl with just the center seating surface in leather and a very poor leather at that. I designed the Katzkin covers to have perforated leather in the center sections with solid leather everywhere else and charcoal stitching to match the rest of the interior. The entire seat is Tuscany leather and sitting in them and feeling this leather is like no other seat you have been in. I also had perforated leather panel inserts made for the doors and console cover.

I highly recommend Katzkin to anyone wanting to customize the interior of their cars and I feel the cost vs what you get is very reasonable.

I completely agree with you Mark. I have seen Katzkin in some custom F150's and mustangs over the years. They are without a doubt great quality. I was also told any wrinkles would disappear after some use time.

The look of the factory GT500 seats are brilliant to me. I love that for the first time the interior wasn't solid black. I have had too many cars with plain black interior. Nothing wrong with that so to speak. I just like an interior to be a reflection of the exterior, as in some accents to make it stand out. I like how the light gray accents break the seats up, and for my car specifically, how it carries the white stripes into the interior.

I will let the pictures speak fo themselves when I hopefully get them next week, but I combined the stock colors with the "snake skin" centers of the Signature Edition interior to get the best of both words.

Sounds great and can’t wait to see them. I have been toying with the idea of replacing my 500 seat covers also and changing out the light gray accents for a close blue similar to performance. Not sure what to do yet as I have been working on other projects right now. All I know is there is very little leather on the OEM seats and I want to change that someday.

Came home for an exhausting 48 hour shift to a surprise from Shelby American in the mail. Two monroney sticker, signed by Aaron Shelby. Things are getting official

I thought about adding blue to my seats instead of the light grey, but my OCD just can't handle the accents on the center console and door cards not matching. I really do not want to change my car permanently from how comes from Shelby. Thats why I had them do the seats, so it would be on record as built with the car.

OK, this is something I have been excited to see........ Seats removed today in preparation for the upholstery guy to install the Katzkin covers next week.

The stock -vs- Carbon fiber lower front splitter pan.

Wait, you can get a gt500/gt350 recaro skin? I don’t see that on their website. Or is this some sort of exclusive SE thing?

I’m not sure what Katzkin offers, but these are Shelby (by Katzkin) branded skins for the SE cars.

GT350 is one of the Mustang trim levels on their site. I thought all GT350s came with Recaros.
