What is pricing looking like? I don't see this on the site. Any idea of how much power it can take? Any issues with cooling?

Too many options to go over to simply pick on a website. We went with Custom CP Pistons on Josh's with drop down rings, gaped for 25+ lbs of boost and a pretty robust support system.

As for power, we call it a 1500hp block but can and has held more. Anytime you go into this power range anything can happen though and your margin of error lowers which, Josh is tracking. We'll be pushing a good amount of power over 1500hp on the same block without using a mechanical fuel pump. There are ways to make 1500hp work:)

Hey man if u go let me know,we just did an auto swap in my buddies pp car.Its not as bad as guys make it out to be and to be honest can be done cheaper then a 6060 swap.We have his car running ready to go to the track to do a test before the paxton goes on.Also looks 100% stock and everything fit nice.

I'm still on the fence. If I do the auto swap, looking at a th400 or powerglide. But I don't know crap about autos. Lol. I also don't care about paddle shifters or any other comfort items.

With out the trans ds and converter, what did all the other items run?

I think without the trans he only had about 1100 hundred in it,new pcm, wire harness, and shifter assy plus he bought all new bolts and a couple things we didnt need.I love manual but i know once i put this rxt clutch in chances are shits gonna start breaking and that gets old fast lol.U could find a f150 trans for a good price and have that built, they go for half of what the mustang one sells for and its the same damm trans.

But will that trans hold the power level we are planning to make?

I think if u use the exedy billet input shaft and clutches u would be good, but nothing quarenteed lol.The stock trans is holding alot of hp the way it comes,of course u will need more but with a convertor and stuff listed above i think u would be ok.Maybe add a better cooler for those 1/2 and 1 mile events. An auto with that kind of power is not going to be boring to drive:D

Right. But wouldn't a th400 or powerglide built cost around the same? I'd rather not build the 6r80 just to blow it. I guess I just need to do a lot more research on it. Bc I know nothing about them and how converters work etc. lol

Ps any Vendors that can help with this please reach out.

What do you guys think about the Gt 350 oil pan and pump? Think it's worth the $500? Does it use a different sprocket then than the gt?

That's what I have on my KB car .
I added billet gears to the oil pump .
I was considering going back to the stock oil pump and gears so may have mine for sale .
Send me a PM .

To be honest I don't see any real pros .

I think the increased capacity(10 quarts ) is to help with road racing but if I am wrong may be the resident experts can correct me .
I had a hard time checking the oil level with the stock dipstick and had to get a longer aftermarket dipstick . Intially I thought getting a GT 350 specific dipstick would be the fix but when I compared the stock GT dipstick to the one in my GT 350 they are indentical and the same length

Thanks, I was hoping the extra two quarts would keep it a little cooler.
Didn't even think about the dipstick.

Guess that $500 could be better spent.
