JDM style wheels on S550

Work wheels are made by work in Japan. Do they really make XXR wheels?

XXR are made in Taiwan by a company that makes wheels that are licensed as Work wheels and a bunch of other ones.

Fwiw..ive seen more jdm cars with these style wheels than euro cars. The originals may have started in europe, on bmws and such...but the style is widely used with the jdm crowds. Either way, they are different, and 10lbs lighter a piece than the PP 19s everybody and their brother has

Kind of like how MHT makes dozens of different wheels here for multiple companies.

Obviously what looks good is subjective. But I guess I'm the only one here that think vossens and velgans are ugly and not worth the cash at all.

I would prefer not to be grouped in just because both start with V..:amen:Our lineup is much more Vast with over 30 wheel choices

Im just not into your wheels. Plus i dont like 19s or 20s+ sizes . I prefer 18s as the largest size. Im not into luxury style wheels. Im a drag racer and i like road courses which none of your wheels are best suited for that. :shrug:

My fith mustang...but no stranger to jdm...last car was a stg3 wrx wagon..had a 88 supra turno before that. Had my trusty 95 at the same time


Thanks! I really like the xxrs...nice wheels and pretty light. These were 22lbs each. Had these.on my last sn95 too. Ive never tracked them...but i beat on them pretty hard in the mountains. I just need a little more meat on my s550. Maybe 295 35s next time.

Sorry...one last xxr shot haha....this car could have had waaay more tire...i bought this setup for my 88 supra...but then sold the car the weekend these wheels showed up haha. Would have looks really good with more meat.

I know you guys think the xxrs are a joke cause they arnt high end...but im married, single income, 3 kids...a house and a expedition to pay for...plus i live in comi fornia...high end wheels just arnt in my future....if they were id have te37s
