Fairly easy? I haven't seen anyone say it was fairly easy (without a lift). It took one guy 13 hours over a period of a few days. Most people say it's 5-8hrs and a bitch. And where I live, I'll have to pull the LT's when I go to smog it (in 5 years).

I think its fairly easy. I did my own LT install on my 06 GT in my garage with no lift and ya it took me 6-8 hrs to do alone with the car in the air over a couple days after work in the evenings but it wasn't too bad, and I would be doing the same with this car too.

Easy to me is a couple hours tops, lol. Swearing at bolts and lack of space isn't fun.

That sounds DAF. May have just made my mind up on this set.

I'm going e85 instead of headers for now. If I can get my buddy to weld up the flanges for the cat delete's I'll go that route.

I would just make certain there is not welding slag on the inside of the pipes. My cousin put MAC headers on his 1996 Cobra way back in the day and it trashed the motor. After it happened he found out multiple people had that problem and the EGR circulated the welding slag/metal bits into the engine. It was an expensive mistake that saved him a couple hundred on headers but cost the engine. I am not saying JBA has this problem just an FYI.

I've got JBA Fox body headers on my '66 GT Fastback with a MII suspension. They fit great, high quality and were right at $750 since they are stainless with ceramic coating. Shame they discontinued the Fox body long tubes since it is one of the more popular "old" mustangs out there.
