Did a 150 mi drive today ...drove to folsom and went down Salmon Falls road to hwy 49. Crazy curves..mostly 3rd gear...some 2nd where it was real twisty. A favorate rd for the sport bikes and sport cars. No car in front of me..road to myself. I have driven this road with 3 different Miatas...great fun. My 15 gt pp1 with bmr springs....great car....but not on the curves. Felt real big...not great control.
The Bullitt with magnaride...different animal. Used the track mode...perfect on the mostly smooth roads. Plenty flat
...very little body movement...but still compliant. The tires at around 70 * still had grip. A great day of driving curves!
My black 15 was a great car..drove it to test drive the Bullitt. Quick car because of short gears.
Fun....not on curves. The Bullitt would loose in on a twisty road. No regrets. Curves! If any of you are here in nor cal...hwy 36 from I 5 to hwy 101. 140 mi and 1900 curves.
Done this road 2x. The first in my Miata 93le. Damn fast on curves. 2nd time in the Bullitt. Had more fun in the Bullitt. The power...exhaust...handling is intoxicating!

Yeah, I am still shocked by how staggeringly impressive Magneride is whenever I take the Bullitt on a twisty road.

Love the Bullitt on the really curvy roads. I got the chance to drive mine recently on some twisty roads in Dahlonega, GA just north of Atlanta (Hogpen Road) and it was amazing. It's a whole different car on sharp curves.
