Issue after header install?!!!

So I just got done installing my headers one of the factory exhaust connects was bent upward so I had to contact the header company which I did and they are sending me new connection pipes but the problem occurred when I drove it home I turned it on it was fine and cruising down the stree it was fine but I stepped on it and did a pull in 3rd gear from 2k-5500 rpm and now the airbag light turned on and the dash said service advanced trac and when I went in my driveway which is a little hill it said hill assist not available I turn the car off and turn it back on it goes away the car does have a Paxton supercharger and yes I was open headers when I did the pull could that be it? Anyone ever get this?

How long ago did you reflash the ecu and are you on stock halfshafts?

I haven't sent over the data log to Lund yet so it probably still thinks I have cats and yes stock half shafts

When the left half shaft breaks it typically puts out a error for the advance track, did you have any issues before the headers or did you lay into it after the install?

But I mean it wasnt doing this before the header install? It doesn't just throw up the error for advanced trac it also throws a airbag light and hill assist not active

You think it could be the vibration from the headers being so loud or maybe the o2 sensors haven't been takin off cause I haven't tuned for it

Maybe not sure, do you have a code scanner or SCT to pull a code to see what the ecu says?

Yeah I have a code scanner nothing pops up because the lights go away when you turn the car off so they are false codes

Mine did the same thing the first time I flashed the new tune in. Turned it off and started it back up and no problems since.

Yeah I'm thinking maybe I still need to get the tune revision from Lund for the headers either that or the vibration is causeing something to move

when I flashed mine or if I do a revision my ABS light comes on at first and then I turned it off and then turn it back on and then no problems just never had any problems with the advancetrac light coming on for me.

See but I haven't done a revision yet I put them on and drove home open headers home im waiting till Monday to do a revision

It sounds like a throttle code. It throws the wrench light and makes the air bag light come on. Mine was doing it when my Pedalmax started malfunctioning. If you turn the vehicle off and then back on it will go out. If I went full throttle the wrench light would come back on with the air bag light and then it went into limp mode. Once I disconnected the Pedalmax it never came back. I have also heard that a throttle body failure can cause this.

Hmmmm idk I mean I didnt touch anything other than down below the only thing I touched was the bartery when I unplugged it that's it all the other bolts I got underneath the car and just before the header install I did a few 3rd gear pulls on the way to the palace I did the headers at and it didn't do it so maybe a wire got caught the only other thing I can think of is the ground strap on the motor mount bracket gonna check it tomorrow and other than that maybe the o2 sensors? Since they haven't been cleared? Or maybe even becaus I am running open headers and going wide open throttle? Maybe it reads as an exhaust leak or something idk the lights come on but it pulls fine no loss in power and no limp mode

Definitely sounds like you need to read the codes when the lights come on. That info will help track down what is causing it. If the only difference is the open headers then I would suspect that. Most of us are running headers with full exhaust. I know this ecu is pretty finicky and the tune will probably need some adjustment to run open headers.
