Is it common to have a small whine/whistle noise after a header install? Mainly when I am at a cruising speed and right as I put my foot into the pedal there's that sound before the car really starts accelerating and I can hold it at the certain spot and it won't go away. Once the exhaust sound kicks in I can hear it. It's not the end of the world type noise but can get rather annoying. Shop said it's coming from the back of the exhaust by the mufflers and there isn't anything mechanically wrong. Possibly the header down to the smaller catback and then out the tips?

Maybe its from the intake? They tend to whistle some.

The headers were the only addition, I've had the other stuff for months. Is that still a possibility though?

I'll have to verify the rpms but I think so. The shop couldn't jack it up at the time but are those things they would be able to see?

Have someone take some rags and cap up the tail pipes and feel around the pipe connections or spray soapy water on them
