Dealer order visibility.Where did you get that info??
Two different dealers had the same information when I was calling today.I ordered mine last week and the dealer told me that production was pushed back until September. They showed me a document from Ford stating so. I am in no hurry.

hello can you help me find my own , Dealer CB2412 ord 6000 ordered 5\26\14I went to cotus and searched all the vin numbers for a GT premium from 0001 (Barret Jackson car) up to 1150. I found quite a few, probably 40 or more that have vin numbers assigned. The only car showing "in production" is 0001 but it's been there for several days now. I am going to check throughout the day and see if any of them have a status change. The ones I found are a very small pool but you never know. I will post here if I find anything.
It's happening!!!Start of production.
I would say with all of Ford's manufacturing preparation stages (TT, PP, MP1, etc.), they've probably produced at least 300 vehicles. Whether or not they actually show off all of those vehicles is a different story. I'd assume most of the pre-production vehicles go to various departments within Ford for testing/verification. They'll be ramping up production so don't expect 600+ units a day the first week, but I think they'll start hitting their stride in 2-3 weeks barring any major production issues. This new design I'm sure has warranted extra care in the pre-production stages. So production stated today, but how many pre-poduction cars have been made?
All those functional cars we've seen around the globe; 100? more / less? What do we think?
Would this be normal for every new car made by a large manufacturer? Or has this significant model warranted more than normal?
