Haha. Funny enough, as I'm viewing this thread I got an email from my Ford dealer saying "Orders are in and ready for Ford to start building". It'll obviously be weeks before mine gets built but good to know we're getting some type of update.

Ordered June 11. Priority 10. The email I received was not directed to me, think it was a mass email to those who've ordered. Guess it's just the nod to say production has started, to fuel our cravings.....:hitcomputer:

Those numbers on the Ecoboost are a little lower than I expected. I was hoping for a little bit higher on the city MPG at least :/

MPG has not been officially released - but I just realized this when looking at a thread on the 5.0 discussion board:

Yep, I was thinkin they would hit the mid 30's.
I dont see why anyone would go for the EB over V6.
I was originally going for the V6. I chose the EB due to lack of options on the V6.

Thank you Ford!

Those aren't the actual numbers, don't get bent out of shape because of some marketing survey.

They may be better or they may be worse, but those aren't official numbers for the cars they're building.

Also keep in mind that those numbers (v6 at least) are for a manual transmission. The automatic v6 jumped from 29mpg to 31 so that would net 34mpg for the ecoboost. I'm holding onto my belief that the ecoboost will be about 23/34 for the automatic.

Emailed dealer to get priority changed, he said no changes could be made because the order was pulled for production. Doesn't that mean I should have a build date?
Fionic, now you know how I feel with my dealer. I emailed him last week to see if I could add saddle seats to my order since it dawned on me that they were free. He said that it was already locked in and on its way to ford. I said...uh, then where is my VIN and build date? He didn't answer.

haha, shit.

well, my guy has been pretty cool about everything. hasn't told me anything wrong yet. I'll withold judgement for now... Hopefully the priority doesn't affect the scheduling THAT much. (there are only 2 mustangs that ordered before me and they both have VINs already).
