Ah the old move the goalposts trick. The discussion was on violence in general, you went to murders. Yes if you look only at murders, rightwing linked killings will be higher than leftwing. Violence is more than murders - assault, arson, property destruction, etc.

Is murder not the end all of violence? I don't know of many people who would choose getting murdered over having their property damage. But are you suggesting that right-wing extremists are less violent because they only murder people?

Moreover, do you have any data that shows left-wing extremists commit more assaults, arsons, etc. than right-wing extremists? I couldn't find any concrete data to support that claim one way or the other so I went with what data was available.

Violence is violence. I was referring to the prevalence of violence in leftwing vs rightwing protests. I doubt anyone has done research on it but it seems pretty obvious which side is more peaceful and which side is not.

It is inherent in the ideologies they represent, it isn't a coincidence that the far right always plays the victim, and that fascism (the far right) is extremely violent.

First, we don't have very many far left wing groups in the US, cept for those buffoons in Seattle. Your view of far left is what ever is against the right and wants equal rights for everyone, thus, liberals are somehow far left to you.

Now, far left wing ideologies, such as socialism, anarchism, etc, while they are at odds with the status quo, state and corporate power and the far right, are generally more interested in empowering people and creating situations where a more egalitarian form of society can come to be.

Whereas, right wing ideologies, especially the far right, which is where many of the killings come from are more concerned with imposing their worldview, and often an inherent part of their ideology is that there are some people who are degenerates or undesirables, and getting rid of those people is quite literally their goal.

Johnson is a hopeless Trump clone who is incapable of grasping detail on anything. Trouble is we are stuck with him for a while yet and like Trump he surrounds himself with 'yes men'.

I am pleased that most people did not risk spreading COVID by attending DT's rally. From some of the things he said Biden would be best just to keep quiet and let Trump ruin his own chances. His comments (apparently joking according to the WH) were far from funny. The man is a moron who thinks that 'keeping the numbers low' by what ever means fixes the problem.
