hey guys I just picked up my new 2017 gt about a week ago, recently I noticed something strange. when driving with the windows down when accelerating / decelerating there would be a sound almost like air being let out of a compressor on the passenger side. the car runs fine and doesn't lose any power is this normal? should I be concerned? thanks

Are you going over bumps or something because when shocks compress, you will hear a hissing sound.

Theres an old mentioning of this one the forum somewhere.

Its the air rolling over your mirrors and the differences in pressure in that general area. i have the same thing.

Put your hand infront of your mirror/inbetween the A pillar and mirror when driving. if it goes away you know that was it.

Edit - just read you said passenger side. Still, try it.

its definitely not the shocks as it happens consistently. its most noticeable when the engine is cold, it is much louder and can be heard with the windows up. after the engine gets up to normal operating temp it becomes quieter but still noticeable when driving with the windows down. I'm gonna bring it in to ford this week just to be safe

Possible loose guts inside the resonator. Can you make it do it while sitting in the driveway and revving up/down in neutral?
