I had a shop install my kooks 1 7/8" LTH after I already installed my Corsa xtreme catback. After the headers were installed, I find that I scrape on speed bumps, driveway/parking lot entrances.
As a side note, I am still stock height but have the steeda progressive springs sitting in my garage until I figure this out.
Is this normal, or would you think the shop missed a hanger or something and lets the headers sit lower than normal?
Thanks for all your help/input.

I haven't had the car on a lift yet to take a look myself, but figured I would atleast get an idea from everyone here before I climb under and try to see whats going on.

Check the clamps that connect the mid pipes to the cat back the bolts are probably facing down. Scraping .

I would think something is def. installed wrong. Plenty of guys with LT's and lowered not reporting this issue.

Your clamps are most likely facing down. If they missed a hanger you'd be able to tell from the positioning of your tips. I would take it to that shop and have them lift it so you can see for yourself. I would demand a refund due to the superficial damage to the $1700 headers and the $1400 exhaust. They'll quickly refund whatever they charged you because they'll know they f*cked up. If it's just the clamps, they'll just get you new ones.

Here is a pic of the underside of my car, Kooks with green cats and Corsa Sport. the cats are the lowest and they sit about an inch lower than the cars frame although from this angle you can't see the cats.

No scraping at all for me. I did have the pipes tucked up too high and they would bump the car body when I hit a bump but I have since lowered them a bit now.

Hope this helps.

Passenger side midpipe clamp threads are facing downward. Most likely this is the issue.

Edit. Realized you are not the OP. Don't lower your car unless you reclock those clamps especially the drivers side midpipe clamp. I would twist them around just for peace of mind.

I goofed and installed my catback with the clamps facing downwards. It wasn't an issue until I lowered the car. I got under it and rotated all the clamps up to the side of the pipes and retightened them, worked great, no more scraping. I'm betting that's your issue too.
