Is my splitter installed incorrectly?

Not sure if it is. It does have little gap across the whole splitter but is this normal or it needs to completey against the bumper?

Looks a little low on the passenger side. A firm tap from below (up and aft) will pop in the tabs. Easiest done with it up on a lift.

Not installed completely. Get a rubber mallet and shop towel or a almost empty paper towel roll. Put the towel or paper towel roll on the lower lip and hit the piss out of the splitter in an up and in motion. Go from one end to the other. It will snap in. Ask how I know?

Those gaps are the places were the splitter snaps into place. Hit the splitter at those locations. You will likely hear it snap into place. I'll dig around for the Ford instructional video if you need a visual.

Found it. Go to the 3 minute mark. I had to use a bit more than a tap. I had to hit the piss out of it to get mine to seat all the way. It worked. Never came loose.

Certainly does not look right to me as there should be no gap between the chin spoiler and the lower section of the front bumper.

Will look real close at one of my cars tomorrow and if I have some time I will take a couple of pictures confirming the front chin spoiler installation.

Mine looked exactly the same prior to the mallet treatment. Afterwards, sung as a bug in a rug.

Certificate ford dealers..... Can't get anything right. I have free oil changes up to 100k and im scared to take the car in. Shame they can't provide good service.

After purchasing many Ford vehicles for ~50 years there are many Ford dealerships that certainly know what they are doing and you need to find one and build up a relationship with them as it will pay off big time in the long run.

Thread hijack alert...
There are very few GT350s out there so...it’s not difficult to understand why most dealerships have little working knowledge of our Shelbys. Even fewer are in the shop for warranty work. During my two oil line recalls and one tire swap on the CFs, I was always under the car or close by to answer questions from the huddle of techs that invariably gathered around. We group of owners collectively know more than the average collective service department, IMHO.

Looks similar to what mine looked like and it was missing all 4 screws that are at a 45 degress angle that hold it up. I only have 250 miles on my car bc of weather, but i could tell it looked a bit low when i got the car. I finally had the time to lift it to take a look and sure enough the only screws that were installed were the 6 or 7 screws that hold the rear of the splitter to the belly pan.

Needless to say i called the dealer and was not happy...and i got even more unhappy when they said those screws were on backorder. Nothing like paying 60k for a car that has missing peices that i cant get.

I ordered some Torx m4.2x25 screws off amazon so i can take care of it myself.

How about over 13,000 cars built over the last 2 model years!

Yes, some dealerships have more knowledge than others when it comes to servicing our GT350/R's but I can tell you the dealerships that I work with do a terrific job.

I was also missing the 4 bolts as jlauth describes. Look up into the D shaped holes on the bottom side of the undertray to see if they're there. If not, the splitter will eventually detach at speed.

FoMoCo sold nearly 20M cars from 2015 to 2017, globally. The current GT350 build is insignificant.
