Every time I buy a car I change the fluids from radiator to rear end. If there is mechanic in the can I add that also. So far the vehicle is not having problems but I do both procedures as preventive matence. I use synthetic if it's available. Even in breakfluid.
When changing fluid it only makes sense to changecthe filter. Im old school. Id rather change the transmission filter than flush it. I know that's a loaded statement.
This is new to me. I've never herd of the only fuel filter being in the fuel tank. Have you changed the fuel filter? Did you notice it looking real bad? Should I only change the filter when replacing the fuel pump. Haven't looked. Is there a easy way to change the filter if it's nessary? If it's under the seat or drop the tank? I recently put Sea Fome high milage fuel treatment in it.
