Practicality, cost of ownership, and convenience says the stinger.

Use case of track use, cool factor, and overall fun says the gt350

the Stinger is a big ball of fun. But i strongly second the suggestion to rent one for a week and live with it day in and day out.

We bought our daughter a 2002 VW Beetle convertible with a Tiptronic transmission. I always hoped that was the last thing in the driveway. It was a blast to drive!

An No, I never showed them how to use the paddles!

Word on the street is 350’s are selling at all time highs, would you be better off selling on your own instead of trading in?

The short answer is why in gods name would you downgrade to a Stinger. Geeze oh man ! That is quite a downgrade in my opinion.

If you like slow cars, it's actually an upgrade.

Both cars are already slow in a straight line :giggle:

The Stinger has the added benefit of also being slow around corners as well!

All joking aside, you really are comparing apples to orange umbrellas here. If you look at all the aspects that make the GT350 special, the Stinger will be lacking in every area. If you look at what the Stinger brings to the table, the GT350 seems impractical by comparison.

It depends on what you want out of a vehicle. Do you want a fun toy, or a fun practical car? Is it for road trips, or for carpooling? Does comfort really trump everything else? Would you be OK trading FOC howls for v6 puttering sounds?

Considering trading my GT350 for a fully loaded Stinger GT2. GT350 is my only daily and I want something more comfortable. Is it bad idea to make this decision? Any long term financial and performance advice? I know that stinger will get me less performance but bit more comfort and comfort is only reason Im considering as daily driver.

Thanks!
Get a V8 Charger. Still got muscle with 4 doors, practical and comfy.

I'm not sure what you mean by comfort, but I certainly did not find the Stinger to be a particularly comfortable car; the ride was stiff and the interior is surprisingly cramped. We didn't drive it for long obviously since it was just a test drive. Ended up going with a new ES350 to replace my wife's older one. Those are certainly comfortable cars.

Also, K5 is a new car that talks up the handling in the commercials. Replace the Stinger I think. Not much power though..

Isn't that just an Optima?
