Why not ? You can make a stupid amount of horsepower with a roush.
sure. but im not the only one (even in this thread..) that wouldnt go roush. Ive never seen good things about them, especially with their cooling. I dont believe the blower itself has a new revision yet either like the whipple or the vmp. Yes, you can get a different intercooler, but it still doesnt have the ones in the lid like the others. Nothing personally AGAINST the roush, i just dont see being able to justify it against the whipple, vmp, etc. Better options out there imo. you can make a stupid amount of horsepower with any of the blowers, so then you have to look at their other features. If you want the warranty of the roush, sure. MAYBE i would get it for that, but thats it.

when i was looking for my blower i was between whipple, procharger, and vmp odin. I ended up going for the odin kit but would have been happy with any of them im sure.

I agree 100%. In 2012 Roush had a great product. I even bought one. Unfortunately, Roush has not kept up with the other manufacturers in terms of engineering. VMP, Edelbrock, and Whipple have all upgraded their products significantly. Roush is still the same product for the most part. Not bashing it. It gets the job done. But there are better options for PD SC’s.

Why not ? You can make a stupid amount of horsepower with a roush.
Many reasons.
1. The OP has a 2017 car which means the Roush kit would be a 2300 instead of the larger/more efficient 2650 for a start.
2. Small TB
3. Tiny injectors
4. Soft tune that barely traps faster than a decent NA car
5. Tiny intercooler. Everybody else went inverted for a very good reason.
6. Tiny heat exchanger.
I could keep going but the point is made.

Hey guys, so I daily drive my s550 . And have been seeing that maybe something like a centri blower would be a better choice for a daily driver due to the power delivery kicking in around 3k rpm or higher ? is this true ? what do you guys think ? of can u still daily a tvs and have it feel normal
The only kind of boost I would stay away from for a daily driver is no boost. Once you boost it you will boost the next one and the next and so on.

I've had the Roush TVS2300 on my '11 Brembo car. I really liked it. It had the Brenspeed tune and drove really good as a dd. I have also had the Whipple on my '19 Bullitt which I think drove better than the "11. I have also had 2 centri cars and they both drove very good.
Since you have the '17 with the better manual trans gear ratios, i.e. lower gearing, I think you would be well off with either.

The tune does matter a lot as already discussed. I, personally, on your car would do a Whipple, Gen 5 which they make now I understand. It has a bit less low end torque than the Eaton guts, but pulls a lot like a centri.

I have no experience with VMP but hear good things. You really can't go wrong with any of the more modern designs. Consider a Procharger as well. Strong pull through the RPMs with only a bit more off idle torque initially. Easy to drive.

Yeah honestly, all of the kits for these cars are going to be perfectly daily-able. The PD kits will hit harder sooner but how aggressively it does so will be dependent on the pulley and tune. Don't fear any of the kits as they are all quite sophisticated and seamless in operation.
