So after running the 9.7@142 with the 6-Rib Belt system with my VMP TVS, I decided it was time to add a few more PSI.
Justin@VMP told me that I would want to throw the 8-Rib Kit on. I was very hesitant initially, because I wanted to keep the kit "as-is". Well, I decided to pull the trigger and I am so glad I did.
On paper, I gained about 2 psi....but I believe I gained more, and I am certain I gained much more performance.
This car feels like an absolute animal now. It honestly felt "decent" to me when it went 142 MPH in the 1/4...but not beastly like it does now.
Here is the shot of the kit and all the different pulleys:
Here is a shot of the old 69mm 6-Rib Pulley that I removed for the 8-Rib 69mm Pulley

This is the new super sweet VMP Billet HD Tensioner, that offers about 20% more tensioning capability over the stock one. (This piece controls belt movement much better, and should help reduce slip and smoothen the boost curve out)

VMP's new Lo-Pro Accessory belt tensioner. This thing is SWEET! Since I upgraded to a larger lower pulley, this came in handy for clearance purposes.

And - here is a shot of my boost curve (RED LINE). This is a datalog to 7,000RPM.

I believe the this kit is "hitting" much harder, hence the nice spike in boost on the initial hit. Then it is climbing back to the peak boost, which is proof that the system is not slipping.
The 9.7@142 came on the 6-Rib with 69mm Upper / 5% lower.
Let's see what the 8-Rib Upgrades with 69mm Upper / 15% lower can do. ;)
