Hey folks,
Very happy to report my R finally got sorted out after spending 5 weeks with dealer for a suspension fault they were fighting. Turned out to be the suspension control module and this is my 3rd one! C103E was the fault so keep that in mind if you see similar.
I've had several P-Cars including some high HP built cars but my favorite was the 997.1 GT3 for its smooth linear power, glorious sound, and amazing looks. I tracked her extensively but she was climbing in miles (48k) and I was worried about the engine rebuild ferry that would strike at some point.
A few cars later and I'm finally in my R. I have to say they have a lot in common and although I only have 230 miles on the clock I'm VERY impressed! Sound, features, looks, brakes, power all amazing. I had a few items done before delivery: MM plates with R alignment, FP tow hook, and oil seperator.
My first track day is Laguna mid Aug so i'm working on breaking hernin and will get oil change done before the tow down from Portland to Laguna.
I'm really looking forward to meeting up with the local community and tracks in the PNW. I've also picked up some N4S R-specs for street duty (need tires- prob 305/325 MPSS cheap cheap), and also have the rear seat add to haul kiddos around occasionally for school drop off.
What an amazing car and great forum we have here!
Thanks to all of the contributors and I look forward to adding more.
Bad pics, but she's finally here!
