Now... dumb question... how the hell do I install this thing. :O
I believe you just grab the stock one and twist counter clock wise. They use locktite to hold them from the factory not a jam nut. Once you get it off clean the thread out good. Put the reverse lockout collar on the new knob and some loctite and thread it down until it is where you want it then let it sit for 12-24 hours to harden.

I haven't gotten a shipping notification but I hope mine is on it's way.

That's pretty much it!

Yea, unscrew stock knob, put jam nut on, you don't have to use loctite if you don't want, what's on the stock shaft should be fine. But it wouldn't hurt. USE BLUE, not RED! and install is simple.

Also, I'll check your order tonight bud.

Do you send a jam nut? I don't believe there is one on the factory shift ball.
It should work just like this cjpp video.

The jam nut is so you don't need loc-tite. However the jam nut has one thread too many so will probably remove it to get one more turn on my knob (hehe) and drop the height ever so slightly.

I do, but you don't have to use it. I know the ST guys use it.

Also, on top of the spring there is a little like plastic clip in washer, you can remove that to get it to sit down just a bit more and it should be perfect. That's what I did on the install of the Diode knob.

All the videos I've seen for shifter installs say it's imperative to keep that plastic washer. It must serve some purpose if Barton, MGW and Steeda tell you not to lose it.

Really? I'm curious as to why.

I'll text me a buddy who's a Ford tech and ask him.

Is the jam nut hidden in the box? It wasn't in the little baggy the knob came in.

EDIT: NM, found it.

Yours I made the label for last night, you should have gotten an automated email. But I know I made your label for sure.
Negative, I checked all my emails and can't find anything. Can you PM me the tracking info?

And I was wrong in my last post, today is the 3 month mark since I paid but technically production didn't get started until after the 10th when the group buy ended.
