Hello all,

I've scoured the forums as well as the Googles to no avail.

My car rattles when I get to higher RPM and it happens on a the plastic cover between the USB port and the 12V outlet underneath the center controls.

I figure I can just try to take that off and get some felt or something similar to put underneath but want to see if anyone has experience taking that plastic cover off. If I poke it or hold my finger on it, the rattle goes away but comes back shortly after I leave it alone.

This is a small issue and I can take it to the dealer but they are about 40min away and I don't feel like driving that whole way for something this small if I can fix it myself.

I don't wanna go ripping things off and possibly breaking anything (though it'll only be cosmetic, but still) before I know how to pull it off properly. Anyone have experience with this or have fixed this type of issue?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I get a little rattle from just above the "tune" knob on medium-heavy acceleration. You should just take care of it yourself. I'll mess with mine when I upgrade my audio

I have this same issue but I think the rattle is coming from the 12V outlet. Any ideas on a fix?
