ok thanks I appreciate it, each to their own but Diode Dynamics has earned my loyalty so I want to do this though them but apparently I will have to do it myself off their universal fitments cause they have failed to respond on this topic which is pretty unlike them

You used 41.9 inches of lighting for it?

magnetticmadness what I am planning to do is find out where they ran the original ambient kit to, I have the full wiring diagram at home just need to look, and then I will run it to the factory location that way it should turn on and off the same as originally intended. I saw the wiring diagram on here somewhere I think i DIY section
From what I remember reading you'dto tap into fuse #1 and that should work the way the other interior lighting does. I could be wrong

Is there any setup of lights that you would advise could do what we are taking about here? Dash and footwells like what he did? Or can DD put a package together for interior lighting kit of some kind? I'm sure it would be a big hit
We have both single and multicolor footwell lighting kits listed here on our site: http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/led-bulbs-1/led-strip-accent-kits/footwell-kits.html

They are priced reasonably, and the strips produce exceptional output for even light coverage

It come with instructions how to install?
It's a universal kit, so we do have YouTube videos demonstrating the installation, here's one for the RGB kit:

It's extremely simple to do, you're basically just tapping a 12V source and common ground.

Diode Dynamics thanks Nick for your response but what I was asking about was an entire interior kit like what Magneticmadness has built here. I know you guys have footwell kits but there is alot more to what he did than just that

You guys might have it figured out already but if you buy a Mini add-a-circuit and a 10 amp fuse you can use that to connect your LEDs to the passenger side fuse box. Fuse #1 works well as its 12v switched. That's how I have my kit from LEDGlow installed. There's also a couple places near that fuse box to use as a ground location.
