I'm assuming you're using a cig lighter adaptor? If so, then you should be able to cut the connection to that adaptor and crimp it to the add a fuse, yes.

I was using an adaptor too for quite a while but this cleans up the install a bit. Nice work on the dash btw. :cheers:

I could have sworn I seen someone in one of these forums say they were doing a full ambient upgrade including cup holders doors etc and were going to do a DIY write-up, anyone else see that

I haven't no. But on the f150 forums someone did the cup holder ambient lighting.

I have already ordered all the parts. I am just waiting for my car to show up. Delivery due at the end of march. I will have the write up done with videos and pictures days after receiving it.

Here is the list of stuff I have or
dered with costs and part numbers:

1. Interior Light Kit (Varisty Ford Parts)

The interior light kit from ford comes with 2 footwell lights and 2 LED's for the cupholders. I will be taking those 2 LEDs and wiring them behind the door handle. I'll probably need more wiring but we'll get to that once March comes.

The kit also comes with the button that switches between colours. This will be the hardest part as I will try to modify it to become a dial of sort. If this proves to troublesome then I will just stick to the button (still might changes the button to an illuminated aluminum button or something like that).

Again, I'll make a full write up and I am going to hopefully do a video instead of a picture thread so that people can literally watch and do instead of reading and looking at pictures then having to guess if they are doing it right.

It's the actual cupholder part from a premium model. The rings are built into it. All OEM. Love that ford lets you buy it as a part!
