Our intercooler does not require the bumper to be removed. You simply remove the upper radiator brackets and plastics, lift the radiator and AC condenser up and over the mounting tabs. From there you will be able to get the intercooler out the bottom without any hassle. We have taken our intercooler on and off about 20 times now during R&D and the bumper was never off. The only time we had the bumper off was to do the GT grill.

We also installed 15SV0's MAP Prototype intercooler without removing the bumper in just 30 minutes!

I would love to see an instruction video made for this. :)

Well from what MAP is saying that you don't have to take the front bumper off to install their intercooler & you don't have to remove the grill shutters as you you do all other intercoolers. Nothing has to be modified(removed) to install their intercooler...most other intercoolers sit in front of the radiator & behind the bumper support MAPs in the stock location.
this may be true, but the right way is to pull the front clip, so much easier in the long run and safer. you are over 1/2 wiay there just removing all the crap under the car might as well do it right and save your self some heart ache. it takes 15-30 mins to pull the front clip gives you more room and you can remove the shutters while you are there.

You really don't have to cut anything. I removed my AGS (which I'd have done regardless) and two other small plastic trim pieces. If I ever went back to a stock FMIC, I could reinstall everything and you'd never know. [emoji106]

agreed i removed it all no cutting and that shit is heavy

I removed the bumper to install the RPI grill delete, not bad at all and I will probably remove it when I do the FMIC install just to have more room.

That's the truth. Plus, I figure the airflow will improve without the AGS too. Just one less thing it has to travel around and through.

As I mentioned in my previous post it only took us 30 minutes to install 15SVO's prototype intercooler. Removing the front bumper would of been another 15-25 minutes on top of that.

Before the intercoolers start shipping there will be an instructional video on how to install the intercooler. Similar to the ones we have done for our exhaust, downpipe, intake, and accessport.

By all means, if you guys want to pop the bumper off you can. I simply stated it was not necessary. Having the bumper off the car just adds for more risk of damaging your fascia.
